Did you take infopass. I had taken on 26th and officer told me mine was at last (6th) stage of processing and waiting for one of the multiple background checks done. Everything else except these results is cleared.
Did you contact your Congressman/woman. I did in-parallel to infopass to see what I can learn from them as well as cross check info-pass BS.
Eat out & drink beer. Last night I had Hienken and cursed everything/ everbody. Today morning I am Green!
Try above suggestions except the last one.

I read from another post that there are a total of 233k EB applications. Considering there are 140k available per year, should'nt this list be cleared in 2 years even if another 50k still apply in the next 2 years? What am I missing?

With this attitude and arrogance, I rarely think there would be motivation for anyone to do anything for IV.
I started discussion by asking , how can IV convince me that my donation is going to help, I got shot down by ARROGANT ******** and got all reds as if I care. I was planning on a charity/donation drive of my own to get some money for IV.
Know lot of consultants, who really dont know what to do with their miles with every one a executive airline status.
Already have 10+ people pledging Poker tournament from my poker group with their miles for Airlines and hotels. We are talking of a Million AA miles.
Indian restaurants(s) having a Immigration week where a dollar of each bill be given to IV.
I was even thinking of standing at Indian stores in Dallas to ask people to consider for IV cause, as long as I believed and hence was asking.
I was just getting started with so many ideas for my free time.
Good luck in what ever you do guys. Note that GC is not everything and note that I am still on extended H1, family on H1 and EAD never helped me. so assumption that EAD helped my life is baseless. All these hypocrites are long gone from IV once they get GC. All we get is response that Mr X or Y , even after getting GC, is working fro cause. How can I believe.
Any organization can be successful if there are questions answered and not shot down. Just working at DC doesnt make some one a strong contributor for IV.Work at grass root level is so imp. What I have noticed is any one who went to DC has become headstrong, egoist and arrogant as if they own IV.

I called and enquired abt my case. I told I was beyond normal processing time. They gave me some service request no... and told me I will receive an email within 30 days. What does this mean!
This means that if your receive date at the center (which is close ND) is not before the published processing date, they don't want to entertain your complaint. Note that published dates is, up to which they believe they have handled all cases. It does not mean they have not handled, or are not allowed to handle, any case received after the published processing dates. But they don't want to entertain any enquiries on those cases. SR simply means a standard reply within 30 days, if your date is actually outside the published dates.

We e-filed for mine and my wife's EAD on April 30th 2008.
On June 19th I got this from CRIS
Receipt Number: XXX
Application Type: I765 , APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION
Current Status: Card production ordered.
On June 18, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you.
Then I got this one today.

I only counted 7. But strangely enough, there's an approval for a 04/03/2007 PD. (The user Horus). I guess he is just very lucky!!!

It is encouraging to know that your case is assigned to an officer that you raised an SR on Aug 3rd. An SR was raised for me on Aug 3rd as well and the customer service rep mentioned that my case is also assigned to an officer...
So, Will Aug 18th be "the day" to look for ?? :D

Very good reference. I think we need to include this in our agenda for the phase 2 campaign.
You have rasied very valid point and Canada credit 50% of the time before getting PR there. But I don't think this is so easy to get due to chain migration fear.

Congrats on your approval. My EB-2 PD is Mar 30th 2010, still waiting...What were the minimum requirements on your PERM.
My PD is 31st march...so u will get the good news shortly. Minimum on my PERM were 7 yrs or Masters + 3 yrs
