In the absence (to our knowledge) of USCIS URL, it is not possoble to say that dates can not retrogress in the middle of a month. For example, USCIS has no rule of time period between switching jobs. This means they can do whatever they feel like.
I am saying that 2007 GCs can get exhausted at any time independent of I-485s received/approved.

what if both husband & wife get jobs and come here on TN vsia, then how does TD visa apply because both are working? is that possible for both to work in US without one getting into this TD tangle?

I did not see any precedance for stopping I485 in the middle of months for past 10 years. If it happens that will be first time

That was the note on immigration-law.com (with another note that AILA was looking into the legality of doing this)

What about Hindi guys are kicked out in asam and Mumbai. Malasiya, Singapore and SL have tamil population and thats why the noise is.

I have friends that make 3 times as much as I do...The only difference is that they have a GC and I do not..and I am making much better than an average American....
So your saying that I am not suffering is not soothing to me...It does not reduce my pain.....It does not convince me in any way....
Not just that...My friends who chose not to come to America now have a higher net worth than me....So coming to America has not exactly been a great thing for me....More over whatever you are saying is just salt on my wounds...nothing less than that....

My lawfirm just sent everyone an official memo stating the possibility of retrogression sometime in July and that they are working overtime to get all the cases filed at the earliest...They are saying that there is no guarantee that the 485 application will be accepted if DOS decides to retrogress dates in July....

In my opinion MMS may be a nice person and may be a good economist, but it wasn't him who was running the govt. and it will not be him if he comes back again. It is a very common practice in India, a chemist will run a chemist shop but the License is in somebody else's name. Here also same thing happened, you saw Manmohan Singh on PM's chair, but it was somebody else who was running the show, and it is deception & dishonesty to your voters. It'll be the whole cabinet, most what was during Vajpayee govt. which was much cleaner & much more agressive on developmental issues, they worked on certain agendas, lot of places where you see growth, were actually the good work done by the NDA govt. You may praise Laloo for all the Railway turn around, but the reality is the foundation was layed by then Railway Minister "Nitish Kumar", AI/AI became profitable under "Rajiv Pratap Rudy" . There were people like "Suresh Prabhu", "Yashwant Sinha", "Arun Shourie", all of them did tremendous Jobs in their cabinet.

My friend, the purpose of green card is to allow you to convert into citizenship sometime down the road. If you are not ready and willing to spend your saved money in the US and better its economy, then how can you expect the US goverment to help you?
If you do not have enough money, then you are not paid the prevailing wage or the wage mentioned on the green card. If you do not have a job, how can your green card process still be there arent you illegal already?
To add to all the above, as nixtor has stated, reduced backlogs help everybody.
This is not fair and good idea. what about people waiting in line for years and invested their money elsewhere because of this green card delays or those who do not have enough money and job in this market situation. All of the sudden you are brining this idea. This is not fair. This is kind of buying green card. There is a investment based green card category available for that. I request you to go through that channel if you are rich. Not all employment based green card seekers are rich. Please keep that in mind.

immigration policy is a social and an economic issue..not just economics..At least we are putting something on the table that can take care of one issue in your opinion i.e. the economic issue, pls let the social issue aside at least the way you are putting it, it sounds more like a racist issue!!!
