I like the idea of separate fund for EB3.
Is there no one in IV admins /founders who are interested in EB3?
I believe we need to have a EB3 wing in IV ,Ideally the max donors in EB3 ( atleast 10) can be the decision makers and can ensure EB3 voice is also heard.
We should have the % board members in IV from EB3 wing reflecting the amounts donated by EB3.
Looks like we already have Patton Boggs lobbying for IV. Did any EB3 candidate ever given an chance to interact with them. Exactly how does this work ?

Now is *exactly* the right time to buy a house (at least in California). The prices are not spiraling down (they've already hit bottom). The interest rates are low and prices are low.

As far as I know L1 has no affect on the H1 filing. She can come US on L1 and if her H1 gets approved, she can continue to work on L1 with company A. To tranfer to H1, she has to go out of US and then re-enter after getting H1 visa stamped. This is based on my understanding and few of my friends who have done that. They were in US on L1 but filed their H1 through another company.

OK, you two, I see what you're saying. So one has to pay for the right to start a new thread. In that case those who have questions will start PMing those who seem to know stuff or going offtopic in random threads.
1) Moderators have the ability to delete stuff and the rest of the IV members need to smart up and not answer off-topic questions

I read news on oh law firm few days back that USCIS is planning to abandon concurrent filing (I140 + I-485). So when USCIS has power to disallow that, then they may have power to allow file I-485 when visa not available. This is just my thought. Anyway it does not hurt to find it out from USCIS officials, rather than asking some lawyer or interpret our own.
Also when we ask lawyer about this, we may not get positive response as they may fear of loosing fees of countless H1B visa transfers.

I have an idea, can we connect to a lobbyist who can push the legal immigration. Immigration lawyers, construction companies, banks etc will be the ones benefiting in resolving EB issues. Can they sponsor. Please consider this as me just sharing my thoughts.

Lot of you guys have mentioned that there were a set of people( Latino immigrant community) there who were not happy with some of the terms in the STRIVE ACT. Could one of you tell us what those terms were ? Since legal immigration reform are hostage to Comprehensive immigration bills at this stage, I am just pondering if those terms become a hindarance in STRIVE getting cleared and consequently section V not getting passed .
Also Ramaonline says that Congressman Guiterrezz told him that he is assured of a support of 180 House democrats and needs 218 Votes to pass the bill. So that leaves us with 38 votes that are needed. From what we see and hear in the news media, there are just a handful of House Republicans now who do not support this Bill . The consensus from the news media is that many of the Republicans who opposed CIR last year have not got re-elected . So if this is the case then 38 Republicans should not be a real problem to find . Any factual opinions ?

He doesn't compare with Mccain on any of the issues except being able to talk. He spends more money running negative ads than Mccain. Then he says, john, 100% of your ads are negative where as only 50% of mine are negative. Which is true but if you dig further Mccain is spending 1bout 50Mil on negative ads where as Obama is spending 80Mil. Though he is correct in his percentages statement,is he really correct?
Any time any question is raised , call them slimy is another strategy of Obama. He did it with Clintons and he is doing with Mccain.
Atleast Obama's attack adds are based on policies and not personal attacks. I lost all respect for McCain for his campaign stooping so low and after his VP pick. My god what was he thinking?
Democrats are poised to increase their majority in both houses and McCain is pretty much going to have a hard time pushing his agenda regarding a lot of issues. I dont want another lame duck president.
